Some of the PwDs complain that they are not able to get verification certificates from doctors at government hospitals. They said that they are compelled to visit the government hospital multiple times to get the verification done.
In another case, an eight-year-old girl who was admitted at Vanivilas Hospital for steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome with relapse secondary to cellulitis, tested covid-positive on August 1. She was on immunosuppressive agents and antibiotics and had generalised edema. After having several complications, she succumbed on August 4 with cardiac arrest.

BBMP starts cleaning 100 black spots in city
In an attempt to better Bengaluru’s ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021 survey, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) authorities are leaving no stones unturned. In 2020, Bengaluru had a poor showing in the survey, ranking 214, against the ranking of 194 from 2019.

Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department will attempt to beautify 100 black spots in Bengaluru, within 45 days.
