The Bardstown Arts and Crafts Festival makes its return to the Spalding Hall lawn and surrounding downtown streets this weekend, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors for one of the biggest festivals of its kind in Kentucky. “With more than 250 vendors, we will have a lot of things that are similar” for returning guests, said Randi Mouser, executive director of the Bardstown Main Street program. Hand-crafted items are featured at most booths, and she said there is something out there for everyone.
Bardstown City Council heard comments from Executive Director of Bardstown Main Street Randi Mouser and President and COO of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival Randy Prasse on details for next month’s events and approved road closures. Attendees will see one main difference to the second annual Cheers to Bardstown celebration. This year, the event will be one day instead of two and start at 1 p.m. running to 12 a.m. Sept.17.
