The only thing crazier than his name were his longshot odds as Insanity won every step of the mile in the $11,600 Preferred Trot on Tuesday (April 30) evening at The Raceway at the Western Fair District with the second highest odds on the board.

Bucktober has rolled into 2024 with a storm of success and the Katie MacNeil student rolled through the $11,600 Preferred Trot in a gate-to-wire triumph on Tuesday (April 9) evening at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.

In the $11,600 Preferred Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Lass Shot was the sole mare in the field made up of six boys. Scratched down to a field of five, Lass Shot shot to the top of the Wednesday (March 27) feature and never looked back, winning from gate-to-wire by 1-1-3/4 lengths.

With Ed Hensley in the bike, both Ashleigh Hensley students, Major League N and Andy Over, were victorious in their respective Preferred classes at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Each class carried an $11,000 purse.

A pair of co-featured Preferreds were on tap on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at The Raceway at the Western Fair District with So Frisky headlining as the feature winner in 1:56.1 at the London oval.

Shoot The Whiskey headlined the Tuesday (Jan. 30) evening card at The Raceway at the Western Fair District in the Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Pace as the mare went gate-to-wire to pocket the winner's share of the $11,000 purse.

'Marvin', Macquarrie, and Macdonald teamed up to snag the first $11,000 Preferred Trot of 2024 at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Flamboro Downs played host to the final leg of Ontario Sire Stakes Gold action for two-year-old pacers as part of the 11-race Sunday (Oct. 1) card. Two-divisions each for the pacing fillies and colts were featured, highlighted by Funtime Bayama pacing to a track record, and equaling the all-time Canadian record for two-year-old pacing geldings on a half mile track. 

Trotting mare Power And Grace kept the boys at bay as she cruised to victory in Friday night's featured $11,500 Preferred 2 at Grand River Raceway.

Pacing mare Gias Surreal and trotter Aussie Lover turned in a pair of gritty efforts in Friday night's co-featured Preferreds to prevail in a pair of close calls at Grand River Raceway.
