Hey, we survived.

Some in the party said that additional changes to election rules were likely, after Senator Raphael Warnock’s victory put a new spotlight on a major 2021 voting law passed by the G.O.P.

No, the main G.O.P. problem wasn’t prioritizing Election Day voting over early voting.

The former president faces serious legal jeopardy. A defeat for Herschel Walker would hardly help him with Republican voters.

Either candidate would make history with a victory on Tuesday.

An astonishing $1.4 billion has been spent on just four races in the state since the beginning of 2020, according to a New York Times analysis.

In the final battle of the 2022 midterms, Senator Raphael Warnock dealt another blow to Donald Trump, whose handpicked candidate, Herschel Walker, was outspent and outmatched.

Herschel Walker’s loss to Senator Raphael Warnock showed that flawed candidates cannot always rely on partisan loyalties to lift them. And it is likely to deepen Republican infighting over Donald Trump’s drag on the party.

To cheers from his supporters, the senator evoked the civil rights movement and said, “I am Georgia.”

Senator Raphael Warnock’s victory provides a real working majority for Democrats after two years of a tenuous 50-50 split.
