U.S. auto safety regulators said Monday they were opening a probe into nearly 1.9 million Toyota RAV4 vehicles for fire risks.

There is currently an investigation by the United States government into multiple complaints of engine fires in almost 2 million Toyota RAV4 small SUVs. This investigation currently is focusing on models from 2013 through 2018. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into eleven complaints relating to these models.
