Call of Duty: Warzone’s new Sykov pistol has gotten a predictable nerf
As we noted last week, the new Sykov pistol in Call of Duty: Warzone instantly changed the multiplayer game’s meta when it arrived. With the Akimbo perk equipped and some high capacity magazines, the Sykov becomes a fire hydrant of death, and so it’s little surprise to see that Raven is starting this week off by dialling it back a couple notches with a nerf.
The latest patch for Call of Duty: Warzone includes several nerfs to the Sykov’s attachments. Specifically, there’s now an increased hip spread when using the Sorokin 140mm Auto, movement speed is reduced by 5% when using Akimbo, and the 80-round drum mags now add both a 5% increase to movement speed and a 7% reduction in movement speed while aiming down sights. Further, if you equip the Sykov with both the Sorokin 140mm Auto and the 80 Round Drums, the Sykov’s total damage is reduced by 25%.

Call of Duty: Warzone’s developers are investigating a bug in the battle royale that’s preventing wins and other stats from being counted on players’ accounts.
The Warzone community has been filing reports of missing wins, among other things, in the battle royale. Seeing as people would be pretty happy to get a win in the competitive title, it’s no wonder why so many have been concerned about the inconsistent stat tracking.
But Raven Software have finally eased the minds of concerned Call of Duty fans, letting them know that the studio is now looking into what could be breaking the system in its current state.

Warzone developer Raven Software is promising upcoming changes to the Roze skin that has been frustrating players since last year with the unfair advantages it provides players.
In a Twitter reply to a list of suggested quality of life fixes by famed Call of Duty pro, streamer, broadcaster, and current co-owner of 100 Thieves, Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, the developer said “Thanks for sharing this list. We want to reassure you, and the rest of the community, that we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the game.” Raven then put “An adjustment to Roze” as the first in a list of upcoming changes that we can probably expect to see at the start of Season Three next week.
Call of Duty: Warzone changing Roze, rebalancing FFAR 1, M16, and more
Some changes are on the way for Call of Duty: Warzone, including weapon rebalances, adjusting Roze, and altering how you earn a killstreak reward. Developer Raven Software says more information is coming next week for the multiplayer game, too.
Responding to a tweet of suggestions from 100 Thieves co-founder Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, Raven revealed a few of the ways the battle royale game is set to change. Roze is getting an “adjustment”, likely addressing complaints her Rook skin is unfairly camouflaged. Due to being almost totally black, it blends in to many environments to a frustrating degree. The skin was unlockable last year, pre-Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War, leading to criticism those who have it are at an unfair advantage.

Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software has promised an adjustment for the controversial Roze skin.
Activision s battle royale has for months now come under fire for a particular skin for operator Roze, which many consider pay-to-win .
Eurogamer news cast: the improvements the PS5 desperately needs
Last year the Rook skin for Roze was sold as part of the Season 5 premium battle pass (it was a tier 100 unlock).
The issue has to do with the way the outfit looks: it s entirely black without any reflective surfaces, which means it s very difficult to spot in dark areas of the game. Even Roze s eyes are surrounded in black facepaint.
