UP Elections 2022 Phase 7: Polling begins, fate of several political bigwigs to be sealed today - The polling for the seventh phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022 has begun today in a total of nine districts.
While the saffron party hopes to continue its dominance in PM Modi's home constituency Varanasi, the Akhilesh Yadav-led SP has left no stone unturned to win its stronghold constituency Azamgarh.
The districts going to polls in the 7th and final phase of Uttar Pradesh elections are Azamgarh, Mau, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Bhadohi and Sonbhadra.
As the curtain comes down on the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with just a few hours left for the final and seventh phase of polling on Monday, the stakes have reached an all-time high for major political players in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 54 Assembly constituencies of Purvanchal will go for polling on March 7 while counting for all the phases will be done on March 10.
