Faculty members Deborah Lipstadt, Laura Otis and John Witte Jr. have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honorary societies and a leading center for independent policy research.
The John Simon Memorial Guggenheim Foundation named Emory University ethnobotanist Cassandra Quave a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow. Quave joins a distinguished group of trailblazers, chosen on the basis of prior career achievement and exceptional promise.
