For the second straight year, Arkansas earned a program record with a seventh place finish in the final standings of 2021-22 Learfield Directors’ Cup released on Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of America (NACDA). The Razorbacks tallied eight Southeastern Conference championships and recorded nine top-10 national finishes to best the program’s previous Directors’ Cup best finish, eighth, in the 2020-21 athletics season.

With an impressive season that included a collegiate record in the decathlon along with sweeping NCAA Indoor and Outdoor combined events titles, Razorback junior Ayden Owens-Delerme has been named one of the 10 semifinalists for The Bowerman, collegiate track & field’s highest individual honor.

Ten semifinalists selected for The Bowerman award on Monday includes Arkansas sophomore Britton Wilson. The NCAA 400m hurdle champion is one of five SEC athletes among the women named as semifinalists.
