Moroccan-born Wijdane Bouzergoun, 18, who lived in Germany, made the move to Perth to further improve her English. Meanwhile Rea Knechtle, 21, came to Scotland from Switzerland in September to become an au pair. Both Wijdane and Rea attend English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes in the city centre, where they met and became friends.
