I saw the video of Joe Biden announcing his reelection campaign. I was not impressed.

The transit system in the Brainerd/Baxter area is as good a public transit system as it gets outside a major city.

In light of feedback letter writer Tim Flinn says he has received relating to negative comments he made regarding certain farming practices, it is hard to tell if he is playing the role of devil’s advocate or a belatedly enlightened environmentalist (Letters, 1 May).

The Scotsman reports that Angus Robertson is “furious” with the Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly, for trying to “reduce Scotland to ‘the status of a mere administrative unit’ ” (1 May).

It seems that both humans and machines are capable of error. This can be unnerving when a vehicle swerves toward us on the road or irritating when a programming glitch brings a system down.

I truly wonder what our youth think of the lack of accountability of the adults on Fox News and our own legislators that I believe are so afraid of losing the next election they will do anything.

God’s grace grants no license to continue in sin, the Bible still defines marriage as being between a man and a woman, and His truths as recorded in the Bible are absolute, hardly subject to change.

The present plans to reform our criminal law system are unlikely to remedy the flaws, perceived or imagined, of the present system.

If you have a relative or friend who is showing signs of mental illness and has a stockpile of weapons, it would be nice to inform the police to do a welfare check.
