I can't help feeling that the news from Ukraine has gone far beyond war crimes. Shootings in front of families, booby trapping bodies, stealing humanitarian aid and deliberately targeting civilians and using them as human shields are crimes against humanity itself. Keeping a “dignified” distance to avoid a Third World War or todamage our economy and the like are no longer options.

Republican politicians today are no better than Democrats.

Let's remember the millions of Americans that fought for democracy and our way of life, and saved the world. Not only in World War II but in all the conflicts that threatened our country and the world.

Despite broad bipartisan support for protecting dogs the Republican lawmakers have blocked the dog protection bill for 10 legislative sessions even as the dog owners grieved.
