listen, this isn t the worst getting a name wrong of the week by any stretch. by the way, the guy hasn t slept with 10,000 women, i m sure he s called out the wrong name. every year they make a spectacle, the cameras coming out, the briefcases handcuffed. they make a big show of how tight they run the ship. i can t remember who reported it, but apparently someone who is in charge of an envelope was tweeting pictures with celebrities backstage. tom: it caused him to screw up. actors are used to reading scripts. if someone who works in live tv had been handed it, you would have looked at the envelope if it said mel gibson we wouldn t be in this trouble
he actually didn t turn out product for a while, he wasn t in a movie from 2004-2010. i m sure he was reading scripts or something, i didn t resort to this but i m sure he was working behind-the-scenes. trying to put some thing out, potentially put some thing out, distracting people from his awful behavior. andy: you brought this up, gibson sang some bad things, a drunken anti-semitic rant, i think that s something that s definitely forgivable. that s like tom s weekend. andy: he beat up his girl friend to the point where he allegedly broke her teeth and gave her a black eye, people were sort of glossing over that part. the audiotape of the incident, if you listen to that audiotape, he is clearly having a nervous break down. andy: absolutely. i m i m not excusing him, i m just saying.
