ReOregon’s Homeowner Assistance and Reconstruction Program (HARP) will be opening to homeowners who experienced damages in the 2020 wildfires in southern Oregon.

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday to implement joint development projects and initiatives and promote the exchange of experience and building institutional capacity in Yemen.

Some qualifying Jackson and Klamath County residents will be eligible for aid through the Homeowner Assistance and Reconstruction Program (HARP).

A new state program aims to provide money to those affected by the 2020 Labor Day Fires that ruined more than 5,000 homes and structures.

A team from the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) visited Shibam in Yemen as part of a collaborative effort with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY). The visit aims to contribute to the preservation of the rich heritage of this ancient city. During the visit, the team reviewed documentation methods for traditional arts, architecture, decorations, and crafts.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Monday a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) to implement volunteer programs and initiatives in Yemen. The memorandum was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development Dr. Aqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi and SPDRY Assistant Supervisor General Eng. Hassan Al-Attas at the center in Riyadh.

Oregon housing officials said more financial assistance will be made available in March 2024 for those who lost their homes in the devastating wildfires of 2020.
