Although the revelation upended her nieces life, Redditors agreed that the girl "deserved the truth."

Reddit users condemned the womans friend for setting up this "train wreck" of a date who was "rude" to both his date and the waitress serving them.

One woman suffered escalating abuse from her neighbor, all over her "pretty vanilla" day job.
