Woman criticized for overshadowing her brothers big announcement by Reddit users.

Redditors are giggling at the "sweet story" of a woman who inadvertently discovered her boyfriend plans to propose.

"Ask if you get 5 hours pay from your boss as a gift when its your birthday," one user said.

"Whether hes arguing that stance genuinely or just for kicks, he sounds exhausting," one user said.

The poster has since left her marital home and avoided her husband completely.

The woman admitted she was glad, and that she would get her now ex-boyfriend a baby shower gift.

The company implemented the rule to try and stop staff from being late, but Reddit users gave the poster some suggestions on what to sing to annoy the boss.

"She will demand someone play tea parties with her, and if they say no, screams at the top of her lungs at you."

He used most of the money right away to help pay for his student debt and put what was left towards retirement, pledging to never touch it.

The poster told her sister she "had some nerve to insult her kids names", and her sister answered that she was just trying to "save them".
