Usually, such incidents happen only through fake online sites. But, if someone says that he got a Redmi Note 10 smartphone after ordering a mouthwash through Amazon, then you probably won t believe it. A Mumbai-based co-founder of a travel luggage company has said Amazon India delivered him a smartphone when he had ordered only a mouthwash. Lokesh Daga said the package label on the delivered item was in his name but the invoice was in somebody else s. He said Amazon mistakenly delivered him a Redmi Note 4 and he has raised the issue with them through an email as well to get the smartphone sent its actual owner. However, the e-commerce giant isn t allowing Mr Daga to return the smartphone because the company s return policy doesn t allow it. Mr Daga s order - the mouthwash - fell under consumable products.
Redmi Product Director Wang Teng Thomas took to the Chinese social networking site Weibo to hint that the company could be launching two Snapdragon 888 powered K40 series phones. The first K40 phone with an SD888 chip on board could very well be the Redmi K40 Pro smartphone. The second SD888 phone could be the successor to the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition, reports GizmoChina. The company is also expected to launch a vanilla model powered by a new MediaTek chip or the new Snapdragon 7-series sm7350 chip by Qualcomm, apart from the Snapdragon 888 powered models. On the camera front, the Redmi K40 Pro is said to sport a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor similar to the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+.
