On Jan. 23, around 2:30 a.m., Meadow Lake RCMP received a complaint of a shooting at an apartment complex on the 200 block of 2nd Street East in Meadow Lake. A new report by the Erosion Threat Assessment/Reduction Team (ETART) looked at several recent major wildfires. The Prince Albert RCMP have announced after an investigation on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation there was no evidence to support reports of gun shot sounds in the area or uttering threats at a rural home on Sunday. According to a media release, RCMP received those reports within minutes of each other causing them to take action.
