Hassan Moustafa’s sixth term as International Handball Federation
President was confirmed at the organisation’s virtual Congress
today, while Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah was re-elected as head of
Asia’s continental body despite being sentenced to 13 months in
prison.
Hassan Moustafa is set to continue his long reign as President of the
International Handball Federation after being confirmed as the only
candidate standing for the position at its Ordinary Congress later
this year.

Former chairman of the Fiji Football Association’s Referees Commission, Hari Raj Naicker passed away this morning.
“The Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel, Board Members together with the entire football fraternity is deeply saddened to learn the passing away of a football great, Hari Raj Naicker. Naicker, who had his last breath this morning, had given over 60 years of his life to football,” said Fiji FA in a statement this morning.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel acknowledged the priceless contribution of Naicker in the football fraternity.
“I’m lost for words. It’s a huge loss to the entire football fraterity as he was not only an inspirational icon in Fiji, but all over the region.
