Comedian Yoo Jae-suk has won an entertainment award grand prize for the 15th time.
Yoo, 48, took the honor at this year s MBC Entertainment Awards, Tuesday, for his performance on the channel s reality show Hangout with Yoo. He was competing against several comedians and TV personalities including Park Na-rae and Jun Hyun-moo.
Yoo previously won the biggest prize at the country s three largest broadcasters ― KBS in 2005 and 2014, SBS in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2019, and at MBC in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2016.
Many people are excited for Park Jinyoung (
J.Y. Park) and Rain s performance, as the two have announced that they will release a collaboration track together. Expectations are high and many people are excited to watch the crossover of two music geniuses, who specialize in two different genres. Additionally, there is much anticipation for Uhm Jung Hwa s stage, as she is known as South Korea s representative hot diva.
The Korean public is also excited to watch Lim Young Woong s performance, as he is someone who helped in the resurgence of trot in the South Korean music industry this year. Of course, people cannot wait to see what MAMAMOO has in store, as they are a group known for their HIP charm and amazing vocal ability. Another group that people are highly anticipating is NCT, a global group that is often praised for their sharp and synchronized dance despite the number of members they have.
