The event helps honor the 30-year-career of radio legend "Kim, the Night Nurse", host of Reggae Redemption on Modern Rock 98.7, while serviing as a fundraiser for the non-profit "Keep Your Hands Off Me".

After a few weeks of a concert-heavy arts and events schedule, a bit of variety returns to the Wilmington entertainment scene this weekend.

Its the first full, official weekend of spring and as you might expect, Wilmingtons weekend is looking to be correspondingly off the hook.

UNCWs Lumina Festival of the Arts will feature 20 events between March 16-29, with a half-dozen of them related to reggae music in some way.
