The challenge of finding out what happens to Indigenous women and men who go missing is one that is not being met, whether in New Mexico, across the United States

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is establishing the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Advisory Council, officials said Tuesday.

There were 192 people missing from places in New Mexico and the Navajo Nation as of last month, according to the FBI.
