And we begin with a Major Development in that Israel Hamas War. The u. N. Says israel is ordering more than 1 million palestinians and Northern Gaza to move to the south, the u. N. Said it was called within the next 24 hours, and several of those arrows have already passed. A u. N. Spokesperson calls the request impossible, saying that it could turn an already tragic situation into a calamity. It is likely the clearest sign yet israel planning to intensify its Military Operations and gaza, following hamas Attack On Israel. That killed at least 1200 people. Tens of thousands of israeli troops, tanks, and other Military Equipment now gathered along the gaza border, meanwhile the aerial and artillery assault on gaza shows no sign of waking up as air israel says it has destroyed hamas tunnels, weapons c
of cnn news central. wolf blitzer is live in tel aviv, israel for us. it is now the sixth day of the israel-hamas truce. a pause that is expected to last only a few more hours. what are the chances it will be extended? more hostages are set to be handed over by hamas. and sources say that includes at least one american. as this exchange plays out today, there is a full-court press underway to extend the truce yet again perhaps to include the release of adult male hostages, which is a major sticking point at this point. the top white house hostage envoy is in israel. this is very important to note. and officials from qatar, the key mediator in all of this, are optimistic. reporter: there are still 161 hostages believed to be in gaza right now. the red cross was supposed to be able to visit them by the end of the fourth day of this temporary truce. sources tell cnn, those visits still have not happened. that would be a clear violation of the current agreement. i want to b
with starship is lost minutes later. good evening. the hamas run health authorities say at least 80 people have been killed in two israeli strikes on the jabaliya refugee camp in northern gaza. they say one hit a un run school al fakhoura that was being used as a shelter. a spokesman for the israeli military told bbc news it was looking into the incident but couldn t say if it had been caused hamas says the second strike was also on a school tal al zaatar. it said 32 members of one family were killed, including 19 children. there has been graphic video posted online. bbc verify has geolocated it to al fakhoura school. the weather conditions in the video match today s forecast and no previous versions of the video have been found online. this is some of that video but much of it is too graphic for us to broadcast. many people, including women and children, are seen with severe injuries or lying motionless on the floor in different parts of the building. many of the casua
as a shelter for displaced people. the hamas run health ministry says at least 50 people were killed. it says at least 80 people were killed in the two blasts. the second blast the health ministry said 32 people from one family, including 19 children, were killed. we of course cannot confirm those figures, but we will shortly put those claims to a spokesman from the israeli defence forces. hundreds of people have been leaving gaza city s al shifa hospital on foot, with doctors saying israeli forces had issued by loudspeaker an order to evacuate. the israeli military has denied this. it said it had agreed to expand and assist an evacuation, following a request by the hospital s director. we ve just had these pictures in from central gaza. newsagency afp says they show palestinians evacuated from al shifa hospital, heading south. you will see there in the background there tanks. we don t know how far this was recorded from the hospital. the israeli military says her hamas has a
