Rensselaer County to vaccinate of home-bound residents starting this week

RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. — Rensselaer County will be offering vaccinations to residents confined to home starting this week, County Executive Steve McLaughlin announced Wednesday. The vaccinations for home-bound will be given to approximately 100 residents. At this time, residents must demonstrate they receive medical care at home to qualify for the home visits. “We are looking forward to being able to vaccinate residents who are confined to home for medical reasons in the coming days. Rensselaer County is working hard to vaccinate everyone who wants to be vaccinated, and this continues those efforts,” McLaughlin said. - Advertisement - “When supplies and resources expand, we look to do even more to help those who may not be able to leave home to get a vaccination,” McLaughlin explained.
