All India Students` Association in Bihar have called a 24-hour Bihar bandh today demanding an immediate rollback of the new Agneepath recruitment scheme.

According to the Railways, around 200 trains have been affected across the country and 35 have been cancelled.

Amid the ongoing protests against the Agnipath Scheme across the country, including Bihar, an official in Patna on Saturday said that the role of coaching centres was found during questioning of those arrested for violence and arson in the city.

The government has provied Y-level security cover for nearly a dozen Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Saturday owing to the rising violence in connection to the anti-Agnipath protests.
