Anticipating violence in the state, the Haryana government has suspended internet services in Faridabad district`s Ballabgarh. In Telangana, several people were injured, after Telangana police allegedly opened fire on a mob at Secunderabad railway station as protests against the Agnipath scheme escalated into large-scale violence and arson. 

Protestors are demonstrating on railway tracks and have halted all train movement for the last three hours.

With violent protests intensifying nationwide over the Centre's Agnipath policy, the Opposition has sought its rollback while the BJP put up a strong defence of scheme.

A video, posted by news agency ANI, showed a group of kids crying after being stuck inside a bus, which came to a halt due to the blockade.
