Vandalism has forced the removal of one of the installations at New Plymouth s TSB Festival of Lights. ‘Lily Pads’ was taken out for safety purposes after vandalism on Saturday night, Hayley Olliver,
events lead and manager of the New Plymouth District Council-run event, said on Sunday. “The matter is now with the police and the extent of the damage is still being assessed today. “If possible, we hope to get them repaired and back in place as soon as possible.”
