The Reolink Argus 3 Pro ($109.99) is a reasonably priced outdoor security camera that comes loaded with features including 2K video, intelligent motion detection, dual-band Wi-Fi, and support for Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. It delivered excellent daytime and nighttime video quality in testing and gives you free cloud storage for recorded video, though its battery life could be better and it doesn’t work with IFTTT. Our Editors’ Choice for affordable outdoor cameras, the Wyze Cam V3, isn t wireless and only records 1080p, but it offers greater third-party support for just $20.
Weatherproof and Wireless
The black-and-white Argus 3 Pro looks similar to the Arlo Pro 3 camera, but at 3.5 by 2.2 by 2.4 inches (HWD), it’s not quite as deep (the Arlo Pro 3 measures 3.5 by 2.0 by 3.0 inches). Designed for outdoor use, it has an IP65 weatherproof rating and is powered by a rechargeable 6,500mAh battery (more on this in the next section).
