This week, local and state leaders are getting the word out about more funds that can help local shipbuilding.

The bill aims to streamline the flow of basic information from the Veterans Benefits Administrations and the Veterans Health Administration. It also requires the Department of Veterans Affairs provide information about counseling and care on the Veterans Crisis Line as well as additional resources for survivors.

After the news, the congresswoman sent a sent a letter to Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Michael Gilday demanding answers about the conditions onboard the aircraft carrier. In the letter, she stated that this many deaths under a single command are concerning.
