WARREN A Niles man is out of jail despite pleading guilty to domestic violence, in a Howland case where a woman said she feared for her life.
Jordan Edelman, 202 Cassandra Drive, was arrested Dec. 28 on domestic violence and an unlawful restraint charge. The latter was dismissed Monday in Warren Municipal Court.
Edelman was sentenced by Judge Thomas Gysegem to three years of probation and ordered to have no contact with the victim, who also was involved in a similar incident that occurred last September in Niles.
The Niles city prosecutor said Tuesday there is a warrant for his arrest for probation violation and no similar offense within three years.
