Delhi Fire Services has identified around 100 residential buildings in Dwarka whose fire no-objection certificate (NOC) has expired. The buildings with the expired NOCs are located in sectors 1-2, 4-7, 9-12, 15, 17, 18A, 19, 22-23, Dwarka Mor and others. DFS has sent notices to the residents welfare associations (RWAs) of 26 buildings over the non-renewal of NOCs. Fire dept received 15,610 fire-related calls in 2023, 4,483 of them residential.
