Sally sally ride americas first woman in space. This book is a barnburner. It has several narrative threads that are utterly captivating. Its not just about an astronaut. Sally ride was a physicist, ph. D. Physicist when there werent a lot of women going in to get ph. D. S in physics. She broke down so many barriers. I have three daughters that are all young and i want them all to read this book. This book is about someone who had such an extraordinary life and as a reporter i also admire lin so much because lynn new sally ride. They were friends.
