Step 1 Paint each box in your chosen colours.
Step 2 Cut lengths of natural twine at a length long enough to tie a bow around the box. Tie a bow on 11 of the 27 boxes (these are the ones that will sit on the top layer of the wreath).
Step 3 Create the wreath base ring. Cut out a large cardboard ring measuring 40cm in diameter on the outside edge and 32cm in diameter on the inner edge.

Step 4 Paint the cardboard ring in one of the colours used on the boxes.
Step 5 Glue the 16 boxes without the twine bows in even spacings around the circle.
