The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, held in dismissing the appellant's appeal, that in the context of care proceedings, where the central issue was whether MH (the mother's new husband) posed a sexual risk to the two children, MH's Spanish conviction was admissible in evidence.

The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, allowed the appellant parents’ appeal against a Family Court judgment which had resulted in a placement order in respect of their 18-month-old son.

The appeal was allowed and the original order for a psychological assessment of the mother to take place was revived.
