The number of reported hate and bias crimes since 2020 has decreased in some counties and leapt much higher in others, according to officials.

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum today received the third annual report  from the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) on data from 2021 regarding hate crimes and bias incidents in Oregon. The Oregon DOJ Bias Response Hotline (Hotline) received the most reports in its history, with 1,683 reports made to the Hotline in 2021.
