Response Resource Task Force News Today

Temple University should include the surrounding North Philadelphia community in its new public safety plan, a resolution introduced in City Council says. The bill is based on the results of an audit conducted by former Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. It calls on the university to partner with city officials to create policies that address violent crime and quality of life issues amid an increase in violent crime.

The university received dozens of safety recommendations from a year-long audit.

Recommendations include neighborhood safety and more support for TUPD.
