Subscribe Piazza Italiana to open on the former home of British Linen Bank in the City this May
By BigHospitality Italian restaurant Piazza Italiana will open later this month on the former home of British Linen Bank in the City.
Launching on Threadneedle Street on 19 May, the grand new restaurant is being led by restaurateur Victor Ravdive, founder of Restau-Rateur Group, with Sicily-born Remo Mazzucato as brand chefand Aleksandr Sarujev as it head chef.
It will occupy the former telling room of British Linen Bank with the interior having been restored to its original design when the bank occupied the space from 1902, with Neoclassical Corinthian columns and ceilings part of the design.
