Stores in Liverpool that sadly won't reopen when lockdown eases

Stores in Liverpool that sadly won't reopen when lockdown eases Several popular Liverpool shops will not reopen on April 12 14:52, 24 FEB 2021 Updated (Image: Colin Lane/Liverpool Echo) People in Liverpool are expected to flock to the city centre when non-essential shops including Primark reopen when lockdown eases. Prime Minister Boris Johnson laid out his roadmap for coming out of lockdown on Monday, which will see all non-essential shops including clothes, homeware and betting shops reopen, provisionally, on April 12. During lockdown, Primark shoppers have become increasingly frustrated with the closure of the stores and not being able to buy items online. Although the date is not set in stone, shoppers are desperate to head to the shops for some much-needed retail therapy.

Claiming to be the 'largest food hall to open in Liverpool', GPO (which stands for 'General Post Office' - a nod to the former use of the building as Liverpool’s head Post Office) positions itself as a platform to 'showcase the best up-and-coming food and drink talent in the city'. Local operators to have already secured units include Bullion Craft Bean Café; Restaurant Konjo; Jail Bird Nashville Fired Chicken; Patty B’s Burgers; Thai 25; Dirty Herb Vegan Kitchen; and Bubble Tea.
