Two former corporators of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have moved Bombay High Court (HC) challenging the Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations (UDCPR) sanctioned by the state government last month. Calling the move unconstitutional, they sought quashing of the government’s notification and for declaring the rules void in their writ petition.
