US stocks had a mixed day on Monday with the Nasdaq Composite hitting a record high while the Dow Jones fresh from a conquest of the the 40000 level took the day off

Banking equities drag MSE Index lower

I prefer low debt stocks in any environment. But they seem especially timely now, since the Federal Reserve has stated that it will hold interest rates higher for longer.
