The Catholic Diocese of Enugu has broken silence on the controversy surrounding the reported removal of the spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka. The diocese noted that Mbaka was never removed, contrary to reports in various quarters. The Director of Communications, Enugu Diocese, Benjamin Achi, gave the explanation in a statement issued on Monday evening, titled "Fr. Mbaka: The True Position." Achi categorically stated that Fr. Mbaka was not removed from the Adoration Ministry, as many reports were suggesting.
