Reverse Advent Program News Today

-- Contributed On Dec. 14, members of the First Christian Church loaded 52 boxes of food onto trucks to deliver to the Weirton Salvation Army to help offset the hunger caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gift of Years group, chaired by Paula Brown, decided to ask members to participate in the Reverse Advent Program, in which 24 food items, such as cereal, soup or macaroni and cheese, are placed in a box each day and then given to a food bank.
