FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) A few people came together Wednesday afternoon to voice their displeasure with the changes planned for Fargo’s Lindenwood Park.
The Fargo Park District wants to move Lindenwood’s road loop to a higher location, away from the Red River and remove up to 82 trees.
Opponents of the plan met at Rheault Farm, where the Fargo Park Board was holding a retreat.
One woman says more public input about the changes should’ve been considered.
“Why don’t we close the road, make it trails that would be handicapped and elderly accessible, use the money for really nice trails, update the shelters,” suggested Karen Mann.

FARGO (KVRR) – Opponents of a plan to make major changes to Fargo’s Lindenwood Park are planning to take their case directly to the Fargo Park Board Wednesday afternoon.
Organizers of “Defend Lindenwood Park” will meet at Rheault Farm in south Fargo, where the Fargo Park Board is holding a retreat.
“We’re going to join them to let them hear our displeasure. Bring signs, kids, dogs, the more the merrier” the group’s Facebook page says. “Please mask and distance as appropriate, and be prepared for the cold.”

FARGO After an unseasonably warm first half of January, temperatures will drop a bit this week and for Frostival organizers, the frigid dip couldn’t come at a better time.

You can pull into the parking lot or lawn across the Rheault Farm and turn your radio to 89.9. That s on 30th Avenue South, just off of 25th Street.
The movies shown will be different each night.
