SUPPORT: Jade Stokes, Kay Coombes, ARCOS client Jonathan Rigby, therapist Clare Grennan and Claire Stokes A MALVERN-based charity is celebrating Christmas early after an appeal for funds surpassed its target well ahead of schedule. The Association for Rehabilitation of Communication and Oral Skills (ARCOS), based in the town’s Avenue Road, launched the appeal in November to raise money for therapy to be carried out over the internet, known as tele-therapy. Although the appeal has a deadline of March 31 next year to reach its target of £16,387, this week the total hit £16,535. ARCOS founder and clinical director Kay Coombes said she was delighted by the swift response to the appeal.
