The NC State men's basketball team will face off against the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, April 6, in Glendale, Arizona at 6:09 p.m. EST.

NC 16 was partially closed in the area for approximately two hours during the on-scene investigation.

The goal of the walk was to raise money, awareness, and work toward finding a cure.

Officials said no one was on bard and no EMS from any agency were involved in the incident, besides responding to the accident.

"It doesn't happen that often. And you have to take precautions," Anthony Johnson said.

The investigation is ongoing and this is the City's 13th homicide of 2024.

The school district announced the schedule change in a statement on Wednesday.

Officers said the 22-year-old driver rammed his vehicle into a police officer’s patrol car and then drove away.

The driver died from his injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

The area is currently closed for an "extended amount of time," according to fire officials.
