Quoting Ng’s younger brother Li Da, China Times reported that it was Man Tat’s choice for his final resting place. “He said he wanted his ashes to be placed at Malaysia so that he can accompany his wife and children.”

Singapore portal Asia One reported that the 69-year-old only returned to Hong Kong recently to continue with his liver cancer treatment before succumbing to the disease on February 27. According to the portal, Ng and Hou Shan Yan, who hails from Segamat, had gotten married in 1996 before settling in Johor.
