Summertime. Images show, some of them you can see right there, the dark narrow streaks grow in the warmer month and fade the rest of the year. This comes from the large reconnaissance orbiter which has been circling mars for nine years. The more we observe mars the more information we are getting that its a fascinating planet. From the curiosity rover, we now know that mars once was planet like earth. With warm, salty seas, with fresh water lakes. Possibly snowcap peaks and a water cycle like we study on earth. Suzanne researchers say further explanation is warranted but because its essential to life, the findings could have major implications to whether there is life on mars.
