A multi-count lawsuit was filed today in Coles County by Charles Lee Stoddens attorney, Thomas DeVore. The lawsuit is seeking a declaratory judgment regarding the County Boards hiring of a private contractor to perform commercial assessments and for providing compensation of health insurance to three board members in contradiction to the compensation set by the County Board.
