WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Virginia Democratic Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine are still weighing the evidence of the historic second impeachment trial against former President Donald Trump. While they sit as jurors in the Senate this week, both at the end of the day say Trump bears responsibility for the violent storming of the Capitol.
“I want our country to move forward. I want there to be unity. But there’s also got to be some accountability,” Warner said.

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WDBJ) - Officials with the town of Rocky Mount, Virginia are looking to clarify information about the investigation into two police officers charged with federal offenses this week.
Wednesday, Rocky Mount Police Officers Jacob Fracker and Thomas Robertson were arrested on federal charges stemming from the violence at the U.S. Capitol January 6. The officers, who were at the Capitol on private time during the incident, were put on administrative leave before being charged.
