Tetiana Kocheva, a Ukrainian refugee, fled her home in Kharkiv after Russia invaded last year, taking refuge in Israels coastal town of Ashkelon. Her husband had worked in Israel in the past, and she thought taking their three children there would guarantee living in peace. However, on October 7, Hamas attacked Israel, leading to a war that has since killed thousands. Kocheva, along with several thousand other Ukrainian refugees, fled war for a second time.
